12 Beautiful and FREE Serif Fonts

Free Fonts

Serif fonts are some of the most classic, timeless and elegant typefaces. Often overlooked, serif fonts have been refined over the centuries and distinctly add an element of sophistication and intrigue to a page. Traditionally being used for body text, the serif - a subtle and intricate detail added to the ends of letters - smoothly guides readers eyes as they dance across a page.

Below are just a few of the amazing examples of some of the serif fonts that I have laboriously collected over the past year. Experiment and have fun with these beautiful and FREE serif fonts. Stop being just like every other designer that uses Garamond and Baskerville in their body text and try something new.
