Typography love: Watercolour Alphabets

Design & Style

There are quite a few examples of modified types made by hand, but I have to confess that Sasha Prood's work is one of the most beautiful and delicate work I've encountered so far. Her range of work varies from illustration to graphic design and all of them are based in a great display of craft, she works with pencil and watercolours, a nice break from the digital produced era. Her typographic work is specially beautiful as the use of colours are made in such a delicate manner that looks effortless. The Watercolour Alphabet series consists of different type styles re-drawn with vibrant colours and admirable precision. The rest of her portfolio showcases more great pieces that vary from editorial work to lettering and illustrations, an amazing display of craft!
