iPad 2 Has Arrived!

March 02, 2011

Steve Jobs took the stage at a press conference today in San Francisco, California to announce (officially) the iPad 2's arrival.

Jobs spoke about the new must have toy, saying that it will include front and rear-facing cameras for video, a much faster processor and that it will be "dramatically thinner." The price point? The same, starting at $499 for the base model. The new iPad 2 will begin shipping in the United States on March 11 and March 25 for the rest of the world.

The iPad 2 comes in both white or black versions, and both AT&T and Verizon will support it.
