NBC is in production on a remake of Wonder Woman. The network revealed recently that "Friday Night Lights" star Adrianne Palicki will play the the title character in David E. Kelley's new series. As any comic geek will tell you, Wonder Woman is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Diana Prince is a vigilante crime fighter AND a high-powered corporate executive in Los Angeles.
Tracie Thoms has been cast as the personal assistant of Diana and Pedro Pascal will play a liaison to the police department who is to Wonder Woman. Elizabeth Hurley is going to play the show's villain opposite Palicki, while Cary Elwes will portray the CEO of the company owned by Diana Prince, Themyscira Industries.
Here's a sneak peak of the show's modernized logo, which respectfully maintains the spirit of the original, but definitely is a brand new take on the iconic symbol.
