Printing Logos and Design

Printing and design industry have been connected since inception; one cannot co-exist without the other, even with the popularity of the Internet and a significant shift of companies to the web. Print industry cannot be kicked out so easily. We need printers for books, newspapers, business materials from advertising to legal, business cards at a meeting and all sorts of everyday uses, and especially for contracts, actual paper to sign on is still as solid as ever and trusted by everyone. With the introduction of 3D printing have even gone 3rd Dimensional instead of nonexistent. It has even become stronger. There is nothing like holding a beautifully printed paper in your hand and feel the texture, the smell and the weight and the importance cannot be replicated with any digital device. To commemorate this old age industry that's been in existence since 3000 BCE, we set out to design a collection of printing logos. We set out to design printing logos for today's large color presses as well as up and coming digital printers logos. to showcase The main difference between traditional printing logos and digital printing logos, we presented different print patterns. We used dot pattern for traditional printing logos since traditional process uses dots to create halftones and mixes CMYK for full-color print.
Digital printing does not use color separation methods, or to create a film to create plates for printing. Digital printing companies can print your digitally designed file, directly from computer to paper; this is quite a big jump from traditional printing companies, this process cuts down on a lot of manual labor, time and cost. To highlight this new technology we had to design digital logos differently. Since most desktop publishing is done with computers, pixels were the most obvious choice to represent this process, so we set out to design digital printing logos with pixels. Pixels logo design made it very easy to communicate the new message or to define the new industry.
