Nokia Starts Major Rebrand with New Font
Nokia has begun its re-branding with a brand new font called Nokia Pure. Designed by London-based typographic designer Bruno Maag, the new branding and font will appear on Nokia devices and advertisements this year.
Google Explains Chrome Logo Change

A week after the Chrome logo underwent it's facelift, designer Steve Rura explained on the Google Chrome Blog, that the change reflected the core meaning of Google’s web browser - ‘easy and clutter free’.
He went on to discuss the new ‘simpler’ icon, and how better captured the essence of Chrome. “Even before this effort, the new version of the Chrome logo was already being conjured up by Googlers and Chrome fans. Numerous creative reinterpretations have organically moved the icon towards simplicity and abstraction, so it felt right to make the icon structure cleaner and easier to recreate,” he said.
Zombie Game "Dead Island" Gets Logo Censored for North America
The Entertainment Software Rating Board has decided that North Americans will be too disturbed by the image of a dead ZOMBIE hanging from a tree, and so have asked the highly anticipated game's makers to replace the dead zombie with a "living" one. I guess someone didn't get the memo about zombies because as everyone knows, zombies are ALREADY pretty much dead. Undead is basically dead, in case you aren't versed in zombie lore.
New Pac-12 Logo Revealed

The self-proclaimed "Conference of Champions," the Pac-12 (previously known as the Pac 10) has won more NCAA National Team Championships than any other conference in history. In fact, the top three schools with the most NCAA championships belong to the Pac-10. In July of 2010, the Conference announced it would rename itself as the Pacific-12 Conference (Pac-12), upon addition of Colorado and Utah. The Pac-10 has just released a video in which it displays the new logo for the Pac-12, which becomes official on July 1.
