The folks at Johnson Banks in the UK were asked to come up with a project that would display the 3d modelling software developed by the college of Ravensbourne. The studio decided to take a typographic approach to the project, thus coming up with Arkitypo, a showcase of different typefaces turned into 3d animated models. The results are.. well, amazing actually. This is definitely a very interesting way to review the history of some of the iconic typographies we know today, let's hope more of this kind of work keeps coming up.
