Daniel Chirico is Australia's most famous traditional baker and for the opening of his 2nd store he worked with the design studio Fabio Ongarato Design who came up with amazing results. The basic concept was to keep a traditional look with an updated design twist with a couple of surrealists details. (A wink to De Chirico's surrealist art, i.e. the checkered tiles, maybe?) I specially like the simplicity of it all and how they keep everything bread related. The little details such as the wrapping paper and paper bags are always valuable elements that make a brand consistent. But the most impressive part of all is the interior design work they did for the store, absolutely stunning!
