Every now and then, I come across some absolutely stunning examples of impressive graphic design. Some of these projects are so breathtaking that they make me gasp and literally shriek in amazement. I always bookmark these designs and refer back to them when I need inspiration, ideas or even just a little kick to send me on my own way with one of my own designs.
Here are 4 fantastic graphic design projects that have quite simply blown my mind this week. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I have and that they inspire you and motivate you to be a better designer.
YOO by Luigi Maldonado
This is a wonderful identity redesign project. YOO was given a new identity that "elevates this team of designers to a divine status, for the worlds created by these Design Gods enhance the quality of living by giving life to unconventional objects and beautifully exotic environments that take the mere mortals into a surreal and eccentric lifestyle." Amazing work!

Cut Font by O-zone
The write up for this one was in Italian so here is my best translation. I apologize if there are any errors. My Italian isn't that great. From what I can gather, Cut font is a font that was created by O-zone as a part of a graphic design project with Photozone called PAPER: CUT PASTE FOLD. It is an absolutely stunning font that was used for this project in collaboration with Alfonso Papa's amazing photography.

Typographics by Ryan Uhrich
Typographics is a visual interpretation of language and typography. The style of the video references 1950's television and radio advertising while "the objective was to use type as the main aesthetic and design element to create awareness about the evolution and main characteristics of typography."
Here are some samples:

Write a Bike by Juri Zaech
There is nothing written on his website as to what this project is about so I have no idea but I think it is just downright cool. I'd love to have a bike with my own name on it. Sit back, imagine and enjoy!
