Vandana Jain is an artist that founds her work philosophy around logos and all things marketing. I came across her work about logo study, an abstract interpretation of famous logos that are deconstructed in the way of a Tangram game (which consists about creating different figures based on geometrical pieces). The prints are beautiful display of simplicity and abstraction of logos that have are part of our known visual language.
After visiting her portfolio I had the chance to see the rest of her artwork that also relies on this appropriation of brands and turning them into a recontextualization of corporate marketing. Another example of her approach to corporate image as an art medium are her "Logo Mandalas" which are basically as the name says- a distortion of logos to be arranged as mandalas. Amazing work!
