For all the candy lovers out there the classic lollypop ChupaChups has been a classic since their childhood. What most people don't know is that it's iconic logo (which hasn't changed much since its beginnings) was designed in 1969 by one of the most famous artists of the last century: Salvador Dali. It's definitely a surprise considering the style of work Dali's known for and according to the story, he came up with it in about an hour sitting in a cafe. The logo hasn't changed much since its conception, it practically remains the same with the exception of subtle type modifications. But what makes this logo so functional is the simple Dali's idea of having it placed on top of the candy instead of the side so it would remain visible. Definitely an interesting fact for us designers, the more you know!
