Cut-out books are mostly related to children's literature as an entertaining way to add more depth to reading, but photographer Thomas Allen takes its principle in a carefully executed matter. His work varies from diverse style books, and what he accomplishes is to take different characters or elements of the books and puts them on display. The way he defines the characters and their looks are an interesting take on his work process, as it is not as random as one would think. Every figure is in some way related to the essence of each edition, and that's what he does in such a delicate way with perfect execution.
