Visual Editions is a small publishing agency that has already 4 editions under their arm. Their work philosophy comes from the love of books and the desire of translating it into beautiful pieces that stand out on their own by their esthetic sensibility. They make sure to work with graphic designers and artists that follow the same idea, thus creating some very special books.
Their latest release is called Kapow! and it's a novel by Adam Thirlwell that revolves around the events of the Arab Spring. The story is constructed by bits and pieces of information taken online, the news reports that are interlaced with the storyline. Designed by Studio Frith, the book steps up to the dynamic of the book, creating an interesting layout that's a reflection of this juxtaposition of pieces. It's definitely an interesting looking book, makes me want to get it soon!
