Abercrombie & Fitch Sues Surf Style Over Logo

The legal battle between Abercrombie & Fitch and Surf Style, centers on a flying seagull logo on Surf Style clothes that Abercrombie says is too similar to one used by its Hollister clothing chain, which has over 500 stores. Surf Style is a beachwear shop with 24 locations.

iPad 2 Has Arrived!

Steve Jobs took the stage at a press conference today in San Francisco, California to announce (officially) the iPad 2's arrival.

Jobs spoke about the new must have toy, saying that it will include front and rear-facing cameras for video, a much faster processor and that it will be "dramatically thinner." The price point? The same, starting at $499 for the base model. The new iPad 2 will begin shipping in the United States on March 11 and March 25 for the rest of the world.

2011 MacBook Pro Released

Apple has, after much rumor and speculation (which all turned out to be true) officially unveiled their 2011 line of MacBook Pro computers. According to the release statement, the new Macbook Pros include FaceTime HD cameras with "triple the resolution of the previous generation," Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5 and i7 processors, and Thunderbolt I/O technology, are twice as fast as their previous incarnations. Graphics also got an update, with the 13-inch model using an integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 chip and the 15-inch and 17-inch versions featuring AMD Radeon HD processors with up to 1GB of memory.

Can the Motorola Xoom Compete With The iPad?

Motorola is releasing the Xoom tablet on Feb. 24, and it is the first iPad competitor to run Honeycomb, which is anew version of Google's Android operating system designed especially for tablets. Much like the iPad, the Xoom has a 10-inch screen, and is approximately the same thickness and weight as the iPad, just a tiny bit narrower and longer. They haven't done much of a stretch as far as design goes, from a distance, you would think you were looking at an Apple product.
